South by GoLab |
Description
Come check out downtown Austin's premier coworking space for creative professionals and entrepreneurs! From March 9 to March 14th, South by GoLab will host a fantastic schedule of amazing discussions, forums and events where startups, entrepreneurs, creatives and technology professionals will have the chance to learn from and interact with each other in a space brimming with entrepreneurial spirit.
We have over 30 startups and entrepreneurs participating, 22 scheduled sessions, an identity and personal data biergarten, an accelerator finalist (Forecast) and over 2,000 RSVPs. This event is a showcase of the best of what the Austin startup and creative community has to offer and will be an amazing opportunity to meet like minded professionals. Seating is limited so it will be first come first serve - registration is NOT confirmation of a seat. The events and panels are free and you don't need a badge to participate.
You can also stop by and get a little work done at GoLab Austin (really?!), we'll have free coworking all week!

Competitive pressure to lower start-up costs, the unavailability of local engineers, and the need to rapidly and globally scale an Agile model make it necessary for software start-ups to establish a footprint in the Nearshore region from the very beginning. The session will cover advantages of "Latin America-based Nearshoring" vs. India outsourcing; part or all of your development and customer cycle support/CRM functions; review geos. that are most friendly to young start-ups including Costa Rica, Guatemala and Peru; and provide a roadmap and action plan for implementing a scalable, Agile-based Nearshore vendor relationship.
